Real Aid, which has a charity shop in Driffield town centre, is holding their first ever Teddy Bear’s Picnic and Summer Fayre from 11am to 4pm on Sunday July 29 at Tickton Village Hall and Field, Main Street, Tickton.
The Big Teddy Bears Picnic and Treasure Hunt/Best Bears Competition will be judged by King Teddy of Tickton.
There will also be a dog show and competition generously organised for us by Beverley Westwood Dog Training Club, plus a tug of war, bouncy castle, stilt walkers, tombola, a variety of over 44 different stalls including collectables and vintage, refreshments, BBQ, tombola, raffle, penalty shoot-out, and face painting.
Roary from Hull City AFC will also be there, along with Bearemy from Build A Bear, St Stephens, Hull, and Frankie the Fox.
Two of the Lifestyle groups will also be raising funds for Real Aid, including Tickton’s very own Tickton Bin Buddies.
East Yorkshire Town Crier Mr Michael Wood will open and officiate at this event. The talents of a local up and coming singer, Laura Prescott and the Shivana Dancers will be performing live along with completion winning baton twirling Courtney Short from the Courts Club.
There will also be a donate station for anyone wanting to support the charity by dropping donations off.
It all promises to be a great day out for a good cause supporting Real Aid’s local projects in East Yorkshire.
Free entry.
